Workshop: Principles of Watercolour with Alfonso Tejada 

Sunday, March 31, 12–4 p.m. at the Music Box, 1564 Argyle Ave, West Vancouver

Explore a new approach to the principles of painting watercolour and sketching. You will learn to apply a free watercolour technique, how to use watercolour "en plein air", and how to bring these works back into a studio setting. Please bring your own materials.

Alfonso Tejada was born and raised in Mexico. He has a Masters in Architecture and Urban Design from UBC and has been a practicing artist for over 40 years. He has travelled extensively and taught courses in Plein Air worldwide. He is the lead representative for Canada at the international exhibition Fabriano in Acquarello, held annually in Fabriano, Italy.

This sessions are perfect for those interested in developing their sketching abilities without the pressure of creating finished works of art. Sessions are tailored to build interest in casual sketch working in studio,public places and outdoors when weather permits.We will use ink,pen,watercolours and markers in sketchbooks that are travel pad size .( from a 4x6 inches to a 11x17 inches in any kind or colour of paper  from wrapping paper to expensive watercolour dine grain papers allways YOUR CHOICE).
